Living Waters Lutheran Church
An Oasis of Prayer, Belonging and Service.

Belonging...

(Kid Friendly Services, People of all Abilities, Families of all Kinds)

Are you looking for a church home? We'd love to have you visit Living Waters.

Here's what members are saying about Living Waters:

LWLC is like a 2nd home for me. It is a place where I am accepted for who I am. I can worship God and not worry about "judgement".

I come to LWLC sometimes full of worship, other times struggling with daily life and broken. Whatever my situation, at the time, I feel welcomed and have a real sense of community. The members here are authentic and really care about you.

Love Your Neighbor Event

Sunday,  September 14

Back by popular demand! Plan to stay after worship for a potluck lunch and a chance to participate in a number of service projects.

ALL AGES and abilities are welcome!

Volunteers of any age can choose between six projects that include; making blankets for hospitalized kids, helping at Centennial Food Shelf, household cleaning at an assisted living home for handicapped adults, preparing casseroles for local families in crisis, and more.

Following the church’s 10:30 a.m. worship service, volunteers will enjoy a potluck lunch (starting at about 11:30), then break into teams to head out to their service project. Everyone will return to the church no later than 2:30 p.m. Living Waters’ Love Your Neighbor event coincides with a larger effort by the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Churches of America Synod’s God’s Work, Our Hands project.

Crazy Talk - Terms You Know, But Maybe Can't Explain

Living Waters is starting a series of explorations into common Christian terms, which for many, have lost their meaning or were never fully understood. The series is intended for individuals who want a deeper understanding of their faith but can’t commit to an every-week Bible study, or are a bit shy of religious discussions. The series is free and open to anyone who can attend from teens to elderly adults. The series will run every Wednesday evening at the church, beginning at 7:30. There will be a brief worship service preceding each discussion, starting at 7, which is also open to everyone.

The series is based on the book, Crazy Talk: A Not-So-Stuffy Dictionary of Theological Terms, by Dr. Rolf Jacobson, and Great Words of the Christian Faith, by Donald Coggan. The first term up to bat will be: Bible, on September 10, followed by, Grace, on September 17, and Baptism, on September 24. The series is expected to continue through October.
